Dolph Ziggler pitched a complete game and Luke Harper drives in three to lead the Outlaws to a 6-2 victory over Brotherhood. Ziggler gave up 11 hits and one walk while pitching out of trouble all game long to give a battered Outlaw bullpen the night off.
Harper got the scoring started with an RBI single driving in The Miz in the top of the first inning. Brotherhood countered with an RBI single driving in Jimmy Uso. In the top of the second inning, the ray Wyatt had back to back singles with 2 outs. Lio Rush hit a three-run HR to give the Outlaws a 4-1 lead. Brotherhood inched closer in the bottom of the 6th inning when Apollo Crews drove in Aleister Black with an RBI double after Black reached on an error.
But that was as close as Brotherhood got. Luke Harper homered in the top of the seventh inning and also added an RBI single in the 9th making the score 6-2.
Outlaws Owner/Manager Shane McMahon felt like talking and said “Dolph was big time today. We really needed a big performance.” Dolph Ziggler, when asked about his performance, said” I was fortunate to keep my control in check. 11 hits are a lot to give up. But my team needed me today.”
The rubber match of the series tomorrow has Seth Rollins pitching for Brotherhood against Daniel Bryan of the Outlaws.
