WILD THINGS WINS A WILD GAME OVER OUTLAWS

The baseball was flying out of the park today as Clue Heyward hit two HR’s giving Wild Things the rubber game of the series 7-6 over the Outlaws

Wild Things got out of the gate quickly on Clue Heyward’s two-run HR in the bottom of the first inning.  Rube Baker’s RBI double in the bottom of the fourth inning made the score 3-0 and Darryl Palmer followed with a solo HR in the fifth as Wild Things opened up a 4-0 lead.

With Sammy Bodeen cruising this looked to be an easy game.  In the top of the seventh inning, Drew McIntyre led off with a solo HR.  After Rusev doubled Bray Wyatt hit a two-run HR to cut the lead to one.  Baron Corbin was now pitching in relief of Randy Orton in the bottom of the inning and walked Kelly Leak.  Two batters later Clue Heyward hit his second HR of the game making the score 6-3.

Corbin started the bottom of the eighth inning and after an error and a single by Rube Baker, there were runners on first and second.  With one out Willie Mays Hayes doubled home Tanaka making the game 7-3 Wild Things.  Andrade came in relief and retired the next two runners holding the score at 7-3.

Hog Ellis who pitched a scoreless eighth inning started the ninth with Wild Things holding a 4 run lead.  McIntyre reached on an error and Rusev hit a double.  Wyatt hit a three-run home run to make the score 7-6.  Lou Brown immediately brought in the Duke.  Samoa Joe reached on an error and Kevin Owens hit a double.  With runners on second and third and no outs, The Duke was on the ropes.  After Lio Rush struck out Sami Zayn was the next batter and he popped out to short.  Then the Miz grounded out to second to end the game and the Duke was all fired up.

“That was some game,” said Lou Brown.  “The Duke manned up big time.  It was good to see Heyward have a big game too.”

“We seem to have too many of these games.  It is what it is I guess,” said Shane McMahon.

Next up for the Outlaws is a home series with Wonderboy.  Wild Things stays home for a series with Legendary
