SEGMENT 1

Paul Heyman opens the show with Shayna Baszler in the ring.

Heyman: My name is Paul Heyman.  Looks around and smiles.  And I am the representative for your Queen Of Spades Shayna Baszler.  I think it’s fair that we tell the WWE Universe why we are here at the house that Ronda Rousey built.  It’s no secret what this means.  Paul and Shayna flash the 4 fingers.  While we know Ronda has her friends which include my client.  And if my client was here last week that assault on Ronda Rousey would have never happened.  As for me well I always wanted to flash the 4 and have it mean something.  Ronda Rousey is an ICON.  Ronda Rousey is an international superstar.  Ronda Rousey elevated this business to a height and popularity that none of the women in the back can ever dream of.  And how was she treated?  She was booed by you the fans.  She was disrespected by her fellow wrestlers who she was nice to.  And she was screwed over by WWE officials.  Stephanie McMahon she knows how you are and how your family is.  I told her to be careful.  I warned her.  But Ronda was just too trusting.  When Ronda told the truth she was criticized.  She made this division what it is today.  And Stephanie you screwed her over and had her taken out of commission.  One day Ronda will be back.  If I were you I wouldn’t look over my shoulder.  When Ronda comes calling she will come right at you.  So why is this ex MMA now WWE superstar here today?  Like I said last week she wants the competition.  Charlotte Flair saw firsthand what happens when you face the Queen Of Spades.  Becky Lynch. The Man.  Assuming you hold on to those titles this (Points to Baszler) is what’s coming after you.  But for now, my client will just take out all the competition for those titles.  And that means everyone.

Stephanie’s music hits and out she comes with Tamina.

Stephanie: Paul it’s kind of funny to me that you’re trying to make a name for yourself at an all women’s TV show. (Paulie laughs).  You said a lot of things.  You’re very good at spinning things.  We handed everything to Ronda on a silver platter.  We made her the highest paid women’s superstar before she even wrestled her first match.  Who else in this business has their very first match at Wrestlemania.

Heyman: She and Kurt Angle beat you and your husband if memory serves correct.  How is the arm feeling Steph?

Stephanie: Smiles then gets mad.  It’s fine.  She was given title shots that other wrestlers deserved more than her.  She main evented Monday Night Raw and Wrestlemania.  Yet she was still not grateful.  So she was taught a valuable lesson.  And it felt great doing it.

Heyman: Stephanie we have a lot in common.  Whether you think so or not we do.  Talent comes and goes but we both are still here.  You taught Ronda Rousey a lesson and I taught Charlotte Flair a lesson.  A lesson her father should have taught her a long time ago.  You used Ronda to build up your brand.  I am the brand.  And I know how to teach a lesson better than you.  You see Stephanie you didn’t think things through.  You were too busy dealing with Ronda but the real snake was the one you thought was your golden goose.  The thing about snakes is you can never trust them.  They can change course in a moment’s notice and come after you.  Haven’t you paid attention all these years?  Could your father ever trust a Texas rattlesnake?  What about a viper?  You needed to get backup.  (pointing towards Tamina).  When you screw over so many people you don’t know who you can trust.  Now that we handled Charlotte for you feed Tamina to Shayna and we might just let you walk away.  (Tamina starts walking towards Shayna and Steph holds her back) And Steph you know me.  There is always a backup plan.  You don’t who it might be but someone is always watching my back.

Stephanie: Looking concerned.  Paulie you do love to give speeches.  You think this scares me?  You think I never have a backup plan.  I think you forget who you’re dealing with.  I am a McMahon.  And if you want Shayna vs Tamina tonight.  Then your on.

Heyman: Heyman smiles. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

Renee and Paige announce the two Money In The Bank Qualifying matches tonight.  Mandy Rose vs Natalya and Sonya Deville vs Ember Moon.  Also announced was Becky Lynch challenging Zelina Vega tonight.  And in A moment of Bliss we have the Riott Squad

Alicia Fox is in the ring for a match with Bayley. The match starts with Fox getting aggressive with Bayley and yelling doing her crazy girl routine.  After a minute Bayley yells back at Fox and starts to get vicious.  We have never seen this side of Bayley before. After a clothesline and a DDT.  Bayley flies off the top rope and hits an elbow for the pin.  After the match, Bayley snaps and attacks Fox and beats her down even more.

We go to Charly Caruso in the back with Becky Lynch

Charly:  Becky the whole WWE universe wants to know why you challenged Zelina Vega to a match tonight.

Becky:  Charly because she got involved in The Man’s business.  I won at Wrestlemania without anyone’s help and I don’t need anyone’s help now.  No one gets involved in my business.

Carmella runs up to Becky’s face

Carmella:  What are you doing giving Zelina Vega a title match when you should be giving me that chance.

Becky:  You want to get your face away from The Man.  Or do you need me to save your ass again.  Besides you lost last week.  So you need to go to the back of the line or maybe you can win that briefcase and I can slap the head right off your shoulders again.

Carmella:  Saved me.  Raggedy Ann you know I was about to beat you (Becky starts laughing) that’s funny to you.  What’s funny to me is how you didn’t really win that match at Wrestlemania.

Becky:  Your just another jealous person trying to take my moment away from me.

Carmella:  wah wah wah my moment my moment rubbing her eyes like she is crying.  Paul Heyman was right.  Learn how to cut a promo.  Then laughs.  I had you beat and you know it.  I will be watching closely tonight.  Zelina’s ass is mine.

Becky:  I don’t know what kind of crazy stuff your into but if you know what’s good for you stay out of The Man’s way.  (Carmella makes a noise and leaves) Becky looks at Charly and says All this for being a fighting champion.

We see Mandy telling Sonya we need to watch each other’s back tonight.  Sonya looks annoyed.

Sonya DeVille comes out to the ring with Mandy Rose.  Next comes Ember Moon.

The match starts hot with Ember and Sonya exchanging moves and reversals.  This match goes back and forth with several close pinfalls.  Both wrestlers are working the mats really good.  Sonya whips Ember into the ropes and follows her with a knee to her gut on the ropes.  As Ember is on the ropes Sonya kicks her several times in the stomach.  The ref pushes Sonya away with Ember in the ropes.  Mandy grabs the leg of Ember.  As she turns to look at her Mandy snaps her head off the top rope.  Ember is dazed and she turns toward Sonya who hits a step up Enzuguri and covers Ember for the pin.

We see in the back Natalya with Charly saying there won’t be interference in this match because Beth Phoenix is coming to the ring with her.  That match is now.

Natalya heads to ringside with Beth Phoenix.  Natalya has the advantage for much of this match using her superior technical skills.  Mandy keeps looking to Sonya for help.  Beth Phoenix has her eyes on Sonya who has shown no desire to help out Mandy.  Mandy is trying to bait Beth into interfering but she is not falling for it.  Mandy is trying everything to gain an advantage.  Pulling hair or eye gouging Natalya.  Finally, Natalya gets Mandy in the sharpshooter.  Mandy is close to the ropes but she just can’t reach them.  Beth runs over to stand by Mandy to make sure Sonya does not help her out.  But Sonya has no intentions of getting involved.  Mandy yells to the ref that Beth was pulling the ropes away from her.  The ref sees Beth standing there and orders Beth to the locker room.  Beth starts yelling at the ref that she didn’t do anything wrong.  Natalya stands up now and looks at Beth and the ref looking confused.  Mandy from behind hits a knee to the back of Natalya.  Mandy goes for the pin on Natalya and using the ropes for leverage gets the pin.  Mandy rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp while Beth looks at Sonya and hits a clothesline on her outside the ring.  Beth throws her in the ring.  As Natalya watches Mandy, Beth gives Sonya the Glam Slam.

A Moment Of Bliss begins.  Alexa comes out to the ring and says I want to bring out my guests tonight The Riott Squad.

Alexa:  Ruby why can’t the squad win any matches ever and laughs.

Ruby: That’s funny to you.

Alexa:  Yes it is.  And you have a Money In The Bank Qualifying Match next week against Naomi.  I really hope you win.  I mean it.  One less person to worry about during the Money In The Bank Match.

Ruby: You know you have a big mouth.

Alexa:  I am a champion and a goddess.  Doesn’t the squad get to talk?

Ruby: This is about me facing Naomi next week.

Sarah: What Liv and I don’t count.  I thought we were a team.

Liv: We came up together.  I thought we are all friends.

Alexa: This is beautiful.  (Fake cries.)  When was the last time any of you won a match or did anything important?

Sarah: We have had a bad streak for a while now.  But there is three of us and one of you.  I bet we can win this match.

Alexa: Don’t count on it.  Who is the weak link on this team besides all of you.

Ruby: I am the leader so I know it’s not me.

Sarah: What did you say?

Ruby: You heard me.  Just to prove it next week when I face Naomi I don’t want either of you at ringside.

Sarah: Oh your going to win without getting our help.  Yeah right.

Alexa:  Instigating.  You guys never win.

Liv:  Stop fighting.  She gets in the middle of Sarah and Ruby

As The Riott Squad starts arguing with each other Lacey Evans sneaks into the ring and gives a Woman’s Right to the face of Bliss knocking her out.

Lacey’s music hits as she walks back to the locker room.

We see in the locker room Mandy and Sonya talking.

Mandy: Why didn’t you help me during my match with Natalya just like I helped you during your match with Ember Moon?

Sonya: I didn’t ask for your help.  Why didn’t you help me when Beth Phoenix attacked me after the match?

Mandy said nothing and looked away.

Sonya:  Sonya stands up and says Maybe you will answer me during the Money In The Bank Match.  Sonya walks away.

Charly sees Zelina in the locker room.

Charly: Zelina as you are moments before the biggest match in your career what is going through your mind?

Zelina: I am just thinking about what it took to get here and how thankful I am getting an opportunity to be the Woman’s Champion.

Charly: Are you worried about Carmella getting involved in this match?

Zelina: I got something for her if she gets involved.

The Sky Pirates with Asuka are in the ring awaiting their opponents.  We see something on the screen and it’s a picture of Dana Brooke and Lana and the letters VBB flash across the titan tron.  Dana Brooke and Lana have formed a new tag team called VBB. Lana and Dana are showing surprisingly good teamwork.  But the Sky Pirates start to take control.  The IIconics music hits and they walk to ringside.  Asuka goes to meet them but out of nowhere Lacey Evans appears and hits the women’s right to Asuka knocking her out.  Kairi Sane goes after Lacey Evans leaving Io Shirai by herself.  Shirai holds off both Lana and Dana for a moment.  Billie Kay distracts the ref while Peyton Royce snaps Shirai’s head on the ropes right into Dana Brooke who puts her in the Samoan drop for the pin.  VBB wins their first match in their debut.  Kairi tried to get back in the ring but Lana cuts her off.  The Sky Pirates just stare at the IIconics who are laughing and making the letter L sign with their fingers.

We see Becky Lynch in the back getting ready for her match.

Zelina Vega makes her way to the ring

Then The Man Becky Lynch comes out.

Zelina attacks her before the bell rings gaining an advantage.  Vega was taking it to Becky early on being very aggressive with Becky.  But Becky has regained control of this match and starts using her power to throw around Vega.  Becky now starts to work on Vega’s arm.  This is to obviously to set up the disharmer.  Vega reverses a whip into the ropes and Becky hits her with a knee to the jaw.  Vega is stunned and Becky locks in the disarmer.  Vega is in pain as Becky cinches it in really good.  Vega squirms her way to the ropes.  Becky breaks the hold.  Becky charges at Vega but she moves out of the way and Becky hits the floor hard.  Vega goes out on the ring apron and delivers a hurricanrana.  Vega rolls Becky back into the ring.  Becky is caught in the ropes and Vega has her in some kind of submission move.  Becky gets to the corner and gets double knees to her face.  Vega pulls her out of the corner and goes for the pin but Becky kicks out.  Vega punches the mat in frustration.  Becky gets up and goes for a kick but Vega catches her leg.  Becky then gives her a Enzugiri knocking down Vega.  Becky staggers to her feet as does Vega.  Carmella charges the ring and goes to superkick Vega but she moves and hits Becky instead.  Carmella just shrugs her shoulders then superkicks Vega.  The ref calls for the bell.  Carmella puts Vega in the Code of Silence and she is not letting go.  Becky gets up realizing what happened and drops a leg across Carmella’s neck.  Then she starts to pummel Carmella.  Vega gets up now and joins in with Becky.  Becky asks Vega to pick up Carmella.  As she goes to pick her up Becky super kicks Vega.  Becky gets her belts and hits the turnbuckles to celebrate.

Charly sees Lacey Evans in the back.

Charly: Lacey what is the reason for attacking Alexa Bliss and Asuka tonight?

Lacey: A woman never kisses and tells.

Lacey walks away

Stephanie McMahon leads Tamina to the ring.

Heyman leads out Shayna Baszler to the ring.

Shayna and Tamina both are looking at each other before they just start throwing wild punches at each other.  Shayna gets Tamina on the mat and starts to work on her leg.  Tamina gets to her feet but limping and starts to chop and headbutt Shayna.  They start to brawl again and it spills outside the ring.  Shayna throws Tamina into the ring post.  Shayna rolls Tamina back into the ring.  Tamina is sitting upright and Shayna starts kicking her chest.  Tamina slumps to the ground.  Shayna drops a knee to Tamina’s midsection.  Shayna sinks in the armbar submission move.  Stephanie jumps on the ring apron to argue with the ref.  Shayna gets up. Charlotte Flair hits the ring and superkicks Shayna.  She puts Tamina on top of Shayna as the ref goes for the count.  Shayna kicks out.  Charlotte runs after Stephanie who goes into the ring and hides behind the referee.  Tamina gets up and tries to grab Charlotte.  Shayna from behind lands a back suplex.  Shayna shows off her strength.  She quickly goes for the cover and gets the win.  Charlotte immediately jumps on Shayna and starts punching her.  They start to roll around the ring punching each other.  Tamina gets up and grabs Charlotte because she was on top and headbutts her as she falls to the ground.  Shayna goes after Flair and Tamina grabs her and gives her a power slam.  Flair gets up and goes after Tamina with a dropkick to her leg.  Flair puts her in the Figure 8.  Shayna gets up and lands a dropkick to Flair’s head.  Shayna looks at Stephanie who is now outside of the ring.  Shayna jumps out of the ring and runs toward Stephanie.  Stephanie jumps the guard rail and retreats.  Shayna stands on the announce table holding up the four fingers.  Paul Heyman is laughing holding up the 4 fingers.

Fastlane Review

FASTLANE

Well this was unexpected.  The card was vanilla and predictable.  I predicted every announced match correctly except for the New Day vs Nakamura and Rusev.  But the unexpected part was all the craziness before the PPV started and during it.  A lot of seeds were thrown around with Wrestlemania just 4 weeks away now.  The card has become clearer now.  Some of the matches were just ok tonight but you have to like what the WWE creative is doing now.  They made a vanilla PPV exciting.

So we start on the kickoff show with Carmella and Zelina Vega arguing over who should get the next US title shot.  These two are destined to have a good match maybe this week on Smackdown Live.  As much as I love my wife Carmella I don’t think this leads to a one on one match at Wrestlemania.  Maybe a mixed tag team match at Wrestlemania?  Depending on how many matches are on the card.  So anyway the match between Rey Mysterio and Andrade has now been moved to the actual PPV and has become a fatal 4 way for Samoa Joe’s US title with R Truth in the match.  More camera time for my Carmella.

We then see the New Day and find out that the McMahons requested to see Kofi Kingston to talk about the WWE title.  New Day beats Nakamura and Rusev.  Ok match.  Not expecting anything big.  Please get Nakamura and Rusev involved in something big.  Nakamura was super over before they turned him heel.  If anyone saw Total Divas, they know the kind of personality Rusev has.

Now the main show starts.  This show really flowed nicely.  I wonder how it played out in the arena.

The first match was the Uso’s defending the tag team titles against Shane O’Mac and the Miz.  The breakup of Shane and Miz has been inevitable as they are setting up their Wrestlemania match.  So when Shane attacked Miz in front of his father after they lost to the Uso’s this was no surprise to me.  I wish they made the Miz the heel because he is so good as a heel but still a good spot.  The match was good too.  A few big spots especially the mid-air collision between Shane and one of the Uso’s.  Miz got a lot of pops from his home town crowd.  Shane taunting Miz’s dad was a good touch.

Next we have a Wrestlemania Promo. Drew/Corbin/Lashley quick promo for their match.

Elias is in the house and he was not interrupted.  This is a theme that played out through the night as Elias came out a few times to sing a song killing Cleveland.  I love Elias.  Hopefully he will walk the streets of Manhattan during the Wrestlemania week.

Another promo for HHH and Batista for Monday Night Raw.

Again rehashing the New Day from the kickoff show

Next up we have Asuka defending the title against God’s Greatest Creation Mandy Rose. Corey as usual acts like a 15-year old boy in heat whenever Mandy comes out.  I never thought Mandy was going to win this match.  The match was ok.  Asuka is a really good wrestler and she deserves to be in a good program.  Perhaps Asuka is not 100 percent after getting hurt at a house show on Monday night so the WWE did not want her to do too much. The ending really didn’t come off well as Mandy lost balance because of stepping on the ring apron as Sonya Deville went under the ring looking for a kendo stick.  We get teased of a Mandy and Sonya spat so we will see where this one goes.

Next we see back stage where the New Day find Kofi standing out of the McMahon’s office.  He never went in and said he has been waiting for someone to get him.  New Day walk into the office and are like what’s up making their man Kofi wait.  Vince says I was waiting for him.  Vince says the WWE title match is now a triple threat match.  The crowd pops as Vince says the match is happening right now.  New Day is barred from ringside.  I thought it was kind of odd to have this match so early in the card.  Kofi comes out first.  It is announced there is a change to this match and gets screwed as he is facing the Bar in a handicap match.  The championship match is announced for later on in the night.  Let’s further this Kofi getting screwed underdog role as the Bar squash him big time.  But the crowd was popping for Kofi big time.

Back stage with the Boss Hug Connection.  Blah still no buildup for this match.

Here comes Elias again to sign un interrupted.  Now he is again attacking Cleveland and Kofi and the Miz again.  Talks Steelers are better than the Browns.  Loving this Elias angle.

We review the Shane and Miz breakup again.  Kayla asks Shane for an explanation and gets blown off.

Next we have the triple threat tag team match for the belts.  This was a better match than I expected.  Ricochet is so incredible to watch and he has great chemistry with Aleister Black.  The Revival are a good tag team they are just getting booked wrong.  Gable and Roode also showed they are a good tag team.  A lot of good spots in this match.  The Revival retain by pinning Gable.  Ricochet and Black clear the ring at the end.  I am not sure what show they are going to eventually land on but these are three of the best tag teams in the WWE.

Let’s see Charlotte back stage getting her robe on and Becky limping out of the trainer’s room.

Next up is my favorite time of the card.  The fatal 4-way match for the US title.  R Truth and Carmella come out first to get the crowd running.  Mella is rapping now and she is super over with the crowd.  Mella is so beautiful and I am happy she is getting pushed.  This was such a great match.  Big spots all over the place.  Andrade is a future star.  R Truth was always under rated as a performer.  Mysterio still got it and Samoa Joe deserves to be champ through Wrestlemania.  They actually out performed their match from Smackdown Live this past week.  For a big guy Joeis really athletic.  Throw in Carmella lighting up Zelina Vega setting up something between them down the road and this match was well put together.  Joe retains.

Boss Hug Connection vs Nia Jax and Tamina.  Beth Phoenix is announced as the commentator for this match.  I didn’t think much about it because she has been doing this the last couple of months.  Nia and Tamina together are the biggest forces in the woman’s division.  The match was ok.  There is not much you can do when you are wrestling someone who is larger than you as Nia and Tamina are.  Bayley dominated this match and they really made Nia and Tamina seem mortal here.  Bayley rolls up Nia for the win.  After the match Nia and Tamina lay waste to the Boss-Hug Connection.  You almost knew that Beth Phoenix was going to say something.  Beth hits Tamina.  Nia lays out Beth.  Here comes Nattie.  She gets laid out.  I am kind of liking what they are doing with Nia and Tamina.  They eventually will be tag team champs.  Now we will see what happens with Beth Phoenix.  Maybe a Wrestlemania match?  It’s really great to see a lot of women’s angles being created.  Did someone say weekly female show?

It’s time for the Triple Threat match with Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston.  We see the history of this before the match.  WWE is really selling this 3-way match.  KO comes out first.  Then Daniel.  As we are waiting for Kofi we get Mustafa Ali?  No Kofi.  The crowd is booing and chanting for Kofi.  WWE rolled the dice that this match would deliver without Kofi and boy did it deliver.  Kofi will get his match at Wrestlemania.  Why waste it now.  Mustafa really put himself on the map with this match.  The boys are really trying to outdo each other.  KO had several big spots as did Daniel.  The match was great and the crowd eventually got behind it.  Daniel pins Ali after Rowan saved him from a certain pin fall.  I am anxious to see where they go from here with KO.  Also no Sami Zayn, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper who came back during the weekend at a house show.

Two matches left and they are very predictable.

We get a Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins promo.

We get a review of the Becky Lynch/Charlotte/Ronda story.

Now it’s time for Charlotte vs Becky Lynch.  There isn’t anything else they can do with this angle right now except to do what we or most of us have known for a while now and that is to make it officially a triple threat match.  The ending was really bogus though.  I think we all expected to see Ronda interfere.  But she comes in and hits Becky once causing a DQ and that’s it as Becky laughed.  I would have rather seen Ronda destroy both Becky or Charlotte or have Charlotte attack Becky after Ronda hit her causing the DQ.  Please do us a favor and not have any of these three in a match before Wrestlemania especially Ronda vs Becky.

Now we have yet another Elias concert.  Brilliant.  And what would a WWE TV event be without another cat walk by Lacey Evans.  Please get in the ring already.  Then out of nowhere we see Randy Orton RKO Elias.  Then even more out of nowhere we see AJ Styles give Orton a Phenomenal forearm cementing their Wrestlemania match.

Now for the main event of the Shield vs Drew McIntyre, Lashley and Baron Corbin.

We get a video package of the last two weeks of the Shield.  Now they keep talking about Dean Ambrose not re-signing his contract.  As far as I can remember I have never seen the WWE ever do this.  But they keep talking about it so it makes me think that Dean is not going anywhere.  And maybe the significant changes made in creative is making a big difference.

This match was crazy.  It was all over the place all over the arena.  Some big spots by Dean and Seth.  The ending was all too predictable.  The Shield did all their spots.  It did look like a sendoff. I just don’t think Dean is leaving.

So overall I will rank this PPV as an A Minus.  Only because I didn’t like the ending of the Flair/Becky match and the Asuka/Mandy match.  But I am glad the women who had three matches plus My Khaleesi Carmella and Zelina maybe building a storyline of their own.  Not to mention Beth Phoenix who might have another match in her.

RAW AND SMACKDOWN REVIEWS

Let’s see was there anything different about Raw and Smackdown Live this week?  Um I don’t know maybe.  The big story is did Triple H and his father in law Vince McMahon fight over the NXT call ups?  That’s all the buzz.  But since the McMahon family made their speech about change they have introduced 10 new NXT superstars.  The first 6 have made very small implications.  All except for Lars Anderson have actually competed in a match.  Lars has not been seen anywhere in at least a month.  EC3 is not allowed to talk yet.  Lacey Evans just does cat walks.  Tucker and Otis got their names shortened and have cut some pretty funny promos.  Nikki Cross has actually wrestled in some big matches.  Both the ladies were in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.  So why did the WWE bring up 4 of their top stars from NXT to not only compete on both Raw and Smackdown Live but win all their matches.   Tomaso Ciampo, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Allestier Black all shined with great matrches.

The Louisiana crowd was not as over as we all would have hoped they would be.  This is even after Triple H giving a scouting report on each and Michael Cole giving more during their video promos.  All 4 are top talents.  But all 4 returned to NXT on Wednesday so was this a one time thing or do we expect these 4 to be mainstays on the main roster?  Well now that Ciampo and Gargano will be re kindling their feud on NXT maybe they will have a NXT Takeover match and come up permanently after Wrestlemania.

But the real problem is not the lack of talent.  It’s the lack of opportunity for all of this talent.  The shows are crowded.  How do you get all this talent enough time to develop into meaningful story lines?  The 4 new guys had 3 matches on Raw and 3 matches on Smackdown Live.  Throw in the useless Braun/Corbin match, another Heyman/Rollins promo(get used to that), Ruby Riott getting another title match and Elias getting interrupted again, Lacey doing a catwalk,  a Dean Ambrose squash match and a funny promo with Seth what was left.  I expected a better promo with the new female tag team champs.  Ryder and Hawkins vs Lucha House Party.  Outside of the new guys debuting and the announcement of DX with Chyna going into the hall of fame(And I will be there) there wasn’t anything else of substance.

Smackdown Live in my opinion is the better show right now.  Even with the whole Charlotte/Becky angle switching to Raw.    There was 5 matches but all were good.  Three of the matches were NXTer’s.  Mandy Rose beats Asuka which could be a set up for a Wrestlemania match.  All 6 participants of the Eimination Chamber match met up in a 6 man tag team match.  Kofi gets the pin and a title shot at Fastlane.  I also thought it was a good idea to not have Carmella on TV while this whole incident starts to die down which it will.  All the matches were good.  But Wrestlemania is fast approaching and we don’t have clear direction on most of the card.  This is something insiders say is very rare this close to Wrestlemania.

On a personal note I am glad to see that Roman Reigns is coming to Raw on Monday to update us on his recovery.  I was a never a big fan of his.  That’s because of the ridiculous push and attempts to jam him down our throats for 3 years.  This has nothing to do with that right now.  I do respect him and I cheer for his recovery and his efforts and bravery facing a disease that just seems to not go away.  Roman will be a true face for life for the kind of person he is.

I also am glad the Carmella/Corey Graves issue is behind us.  I don’t know what is going on at the house shows.  But if she is on live TV this week we will see what kind of crowd reaction she gets.  I don’t want to talk about this anymore cause it’s in my eyes a non -issue.  I just hope Carmella has distanced herself from him as this could be a career killer for her.  The last thing you want is people to see them together and keep getting reminders of what happened.

I have not been a fan of the Total Divas TV Show.  I don’t really have a good reason to not either.  In fact I only binge watched the last 2 seasons because I can’t get enough my princess Carmella.  Watching Big Cass get hurt reminds me that my brother took his MRI in Brooklyn because his boss and owner of the place is a good friend of Shane McMahon and he wanted it to be done quietly.  Carmella is amazing and watching that show I firmly believe that Corey Graves lied to her about how far along his divorce is.

Buy anyway.  I know parts of the show are scripted.  But the emotion are not.  I only saw seasons 7 and 8.  It got me hooked on wanting to watch the 9th season.  It got me to want to watch Total Bellas.  Aside from how beautiful the Bella Twins are.  I was not fans of them in the ring.  It’s not that they are bad wrestlers.  Nikki is certainly not.  It’s just that the women coming up from NXT are better.  They carried that banner for a while.  I have such a new found respect for the Bella Twins now.  They have really become the mentors or the den mothers for a lot of the women in the locker room.  Just to see how they are dealing with all the emotions of the other female wrestlers.  Brie and Daniel Bryan are so good together.  I really feel for Nikki after the breakup with John Cena.  I do applaud her and him for recognizing they wanted different things and calling off the marriage.  Cena is a weird dude.  It’s almost like he is robotic in his real life.  Kudos Nikki.  You deserve to get what you want and you will.  Separation and divorce is really hard.  It takes a while to get over and you need a lot of support.  But poor Nikki.  I feel for her.  But she is so beautiful and driven I know she will come out of this fine.  Brie.  Sweet Brie you will forever be golden for what you did for Daniel Bryan.

Additionaly major kudos to Nia Jax.  She just told the trust about her body and how hard it is for her to find someone let alone date.  For someone who plays a bully on screen she is a really sweet person.  Nia you have a pretty face.  I want you to be confident in everything you do out of the ring.  My Princess of Staten Island Carmella from Massachusetts.  I am from Brooklyn so I definitely understand that kind of woman and I love it.  Sweet and tough and driven.  Not to mention so very beautiful.  I would be your prince forever.  Lana.  There is a lot going on there.  Beautiful woman.  Very focused.  Maybe a bit too ambitious to be liked and get better in the ring.  But I think a complete open book.  Nattie is like the who is the person I am looking to describe her.  She has won titles before.  She is the steady old school woman who is very conservative but she really does not want to be.  Naomi is so down to earth.  I hope she has resolved her issues with Jon.  You really have to feel for Paige.  Great career even though it was cut short.  To have to deal with the other issues she has had as well as the injury is really not fair.  But she has pushed through.
