Sports Plays Of The Day 10-5

Sports Plays Of The Day 10-5

After going 4-4-2 my figure stays at minus 800. It could have been worse as a couple of my wins and pushes went down to the wire. But today I will pick both football games and my series picks for all of the baseball as well as today’s games. It’s time to get some wins. So here are my Sports Plays Of Thr Day for 10-5.

NFL

Cam Newton is out with the Corona Virus so this game loses a lot of steam despite a seven-point opening line. With Cam playing I can at least see maybe Bill Belichick pulling a rabbit out of his hat. But I just can’t see it. Lay the 10.5 and take the over at 48.5.

The Falcons need a win badly. But if I was a Falcons fan I would be praying to lose out so I know Dan Quinn will definitely get fired. Lay the six points with the Packers

MLB

To me, this whole series comes down to Gerrit Cole. There are no off days so if this series goes five games will Cole pitch on three days rest and will he be effective. This series with no off days benefits the Rays so much more in a long series. I like the Rays in Four.

Tonight I like the Rays to win.

This will be a grudge match. I am curious to see how the A’s pitchers specifically Mike Fiers handles that Astros bats. The Astros bats struggled this season but so did a lot of other players. But I would be more concerned with the Astros pitching. The A’s bullpen is the strength of the team. My heart wants to see the Astros get to the ALCS just because of the drama it would create. But the A’s just might be too tough.  Take the Astros in five games.

As for tonight, I like the Astros to win game 1.

The Marlins are a great feel-good story but I just don’t think they have enough to beat the powerful Braves offense. I like the Braves in four games.

This could be the best series of the four if the Padres get some of their starting pitching back. The popular pick will be the Dodgers. I am going to pick the Padres in five.
