Sports Plays Of The Day

SPORTS PLAYS OF THE DAY

After going 4-2 this past Sunday to raise my figure to minus 200 I am back with way too many College Football picks. I have 10 in all which is way too many but what can I say. After a hot weekend can I keep the momentum going? Here are my Sports Plays of the Day.

This will be a shoot out. Take the over. It’s high at 75 but both teams have high-powered. offenses.

Even though Navy is on the road here I still like this play. Navy has been a good team for many years now. Lay the 7 points.

Kansas is so bad right now but it would not surprise me in the world of college football to see an upset. But not here. Take Oklahoma State on the road laying the 23.

TCU is a tough team to figure out. Texas had a scare last week and probably should have lost. If Texas wants to be major players they need to make a statement at home today. But it does concern me a little bit that the Eyes Of Texas are focused on the Red River Rivalry game next week against Oklahoma. Lay the 10 with the Longhorns.

Texas Tech blew one last week. Both teams struggle to play defense. I like the over at 63.

LSU had a rough opening to its title defense last week. It’s safe to say that they are not repeating. With so many top players going on to the NFL and no Spring practice LSU found themselves playing a bad game to Mike Leach’s high-powered offense at Miss State. I was tempted to take LSU straight today but the over at 50.5 is low. I don’t expect much scoring from Vandy but if they give you two touchdowns this game goes over by the end of the third quarter. Take the over.

I hate Clemson and normally I want them to lose every game. But I hate Miami even more. With all of the talk that the U is back, I am sure Dabo is listening. Despite Clemson playing Miami next week, I expect a statement to be made today by the Tigers. This game is a rare double play as I  like Clemson -28.5 and the over at 55.

UCF is a team that I have always been hard on. They don’t play any of the big schools and that is partly their fault, But they might just be a good program. I would love to see UCF join the ACC conference because both parties need each other. UCF needs to get into a power conference and the ACC needs a new competitive team. It also works geographically. Lay the 21 with the Knights.

In my WTF game of the week take Eastern Kentucky laying 2.5 at home vs Houston Baptist
